Sydney Observatory Marquee
High on Observatory Hill, Sydney Observatory is housed in a beautiful heritage-listed sandstone building. A 10 by 20 metre Robian marquee is situated in the rear gardens, providing the perfect setting for your special event.
The marquee can accommodate up to 250 guests for cocktails and is available for a range of events, from wedding receptions, luncheons and dinners to product launches. Clear sides on the marquee allow guests to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding harbour and city skyline.
Sydney Observatory has three experienced contract caterers available. Each caterer is able to design the perfect menu to suit the size and style of your event and meet your budget requirements.
For a truly unique experience your guests can explore the stars above with an added private telescope viewing. Or participate in Sydney Observatory’s Name A Star program which enables you to associate your organisation with a star in the Sydney Southern Star Catalogue. Corporate Name A Star gifts are fully tax deductible, with each donation contributing to the Observatory’s heritage and collection program.
