Exploring the Heavens

Thu 22 Aug – 19 Sep 2013,
Thu 24 Oct – 21 Nov 2013.

Presented by Dr Paul Payne

This highly engaging introduction to astronomy provides a memorable understanding of the planets, stars and constellations of our night sky. A short history of astronomy gives context, and an exploration about different types of telescopes – some of which you’ll use (weather permitting) to explore the night sky. Paul uses 3-D virtual reality media to bring astronomy alive in a way that is not possible with a textbook or Powerpoint presentation.

As one happy customer emailed Paul after doing one of his courses:
Hi Paul – My wife and I attended your HSC Relativity course last night. I want to thank you for providing a very interesting and well presented course on a complex subject, we both enjoyed it immensely…. Your 3D graphic presentation made it much easier to understand for both of us…. I look forward to attending some of your other related courses.
