Observatory
Sydney Nov 29th 1890

I have known Mr H Leathart?? for 4 years, and he has been employed in the Observatory for some time as an Extra Clerk. During this period I have had abundant opportunity of observing. and have found him an attentive and painstaking Clerk and can recommend him to anyone wanting such assistance.

He leaves the Observatory to seek more remunerative employment and I trust he will be successful.

H C Russell
Govt Astronomer
